The Publications Group at the New Mexico Bureau of Geology is actively seeking manuscripts for New Mexico Geology and our technical Bulletin and Memoir series.
New Mexico Geology continues a long tradition of scientific journal publishing that highlights the latest geologic research in our state and surrounding regions.
Bulletins are peer-reviewed and can accommodate large quantities of data or large map sheets. Bulletins include significant data-rich geoscience research or interpretations of the geology of individual quadrangles and map compilations.
The Memoirs continue to be an outlet for comprehensive monographs on topics of wide scientific interest and lasting importance. The peer-reviewed Memoirs could also include large data sets or map sheets. All future Bulletins and Memoirs will be available electronically as PDF files.
