We will hold a final selection meeting for an art installation we will commission for our atrium. This meeting will be open to the public. The art piece is being funded by the Art in Public Places (AIPP) program, which reserves 1% of capital expenditures for public buildings in New Mexico for artwork. We have selected four finalists who will present their ideas throughout the day-long meeting.

The atrium project will have a budget of $120,000 (see prospectus). We asked artists to conceive an art installation that fits our space well and is geology themed. We are looking forward to seeing what our finalists propose.
