New Mexico Tech is sponsoring a free workshop on Induced Seismicity. The workshop will take place on the third floor of the Fidel Center on the NMT campus Thursday, August 21 from 9am - 4:15pm. The NM Bureau of Geology, Petroleum Recovery Research Center, and Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences are all co-sponsors and participants. Bureau of Geology petroleum geologist Ron Broadhead will be giving a presentation on induced seismicity in New Mexico (see schedule below).
