Welcome to our Cameca electron microprobe home page.  We operate a 3-spectrometer SX-100 that is used by the New Mexico Tech research community as well as off-campus users. The facility is geared mainly towards geological and material science research. These pages give some background on the instrument, operation manuals customized to our instrument and information on sample preparation, information on a microprobe user course (Geoc 575), background on current research projects, and contact information.
