The NM Network for Women in Science & Engineering (NMNWSE) is honoring Bonnie Frey, who is a geochemist and Chemistry Laboratory Manager at the Bureau of Geology. This award is given to a New Mexico woman who encourages women to enter into science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and allied professions. Bonnie receives this award, in part, because of the mentoring that she has provided to students involved in her EPScOR uranium project.
The award was be presented Saturday, October 21st during the NMNWSE Technical Symposium & Business Meeting in Silver City, NM.
