Petroleum Exploration Maps
These continually updated maps show the location of all completed test wells for oil and gas, section lines, and the larger towns. Blueline prints of these maps are made on demand (scale 1 inch = 2 miles). The maps were intially maintained by R. A. Bieberman and R. R. Chavez (both deceased) and are now maintained by A. Lopez.
All New Mexico counties available EXCEPT: Chaves, Eddy, Lea, Rio Arriba, San Juan, and Taos. $8.00/county (contact our Subsurface Data & Core Library staff for more information).
