Abstract:

Polygons of coal districts within the Raton basin. These areas are defined by the locations of old coal mines or areas of known coal occurance. These polygons were modified from districts defined by Pillmore (USGS) in USGS Bulletin 1972.

Purpose:

Purpose of polygons are to show known areas of coal development or potential in the Raton basin, New Mexico.
