Prices
Occasionally we must change our prices. If prices rise, we will contact you for approval before we ship your order. Prices for purchases made online or by phone will be honored at stated prices.
Discounts
A number of discounts on the publications we sell are available:
Bureau Publications (does not apply to USGS or other publishers' publications):
- Students: 20% (students must either present a valid student ID or mail us a copy).
- Teachers: 20% (for classroom use; materials must be either be mailed to an educational institution or picked up by a teacher with a valid staff ID).
- Libraries: 20% (contact us for more information).
New Mexico Geological Society Publications:
- Students: 35% (requirements as above; applies to only one copy of each society publication).
- Teachers: 20% (requirements as above).
- January Sale: 25% for NMGS members in good standing (current dues paid; also applies to complete sets).
Dealers:
We offer wholesale prices to book retailers, contact us for more information.
Availability
Out-of-Stock Items:
We make an effort to ensure that items for sale are in stock, but we cannot guarantee availability. We have limited stock of publications from other publishers, like the USGS. If we are out of stock on an item and you are interested in purchasing it, please contact us and we may be able to expedite our restocking from that publisher.
Out-of-Print Publications:
Many of our out-of-print publications have been scanned and are being made available either as free downloads from this Web site and/or on CD-ROM for a nominal fee. If there is an out-of-print publication that is of interest to you, please contact us and let us know so we can adjust the priority of our queue for scanning.
