Data Description:
Appendix 1—Type section of the Tokay Tongue of the Mancos Shale, measured by Stephen C. Hook February 6–10, 2008, in the SE 1/4 section 8, T. 5 S., R. 2 E., San Antonio 7.5’ quadrangle, Socorro County, New Mexico. The section was measured incrementally at the most complete exposures by offsetting along key, easily traceable beds. Figures 7 and 8 show many of these “best” exposures where the section was measured. The earliest fossil collections shown (D5777-5782) were made on April 30, 1967; the latest (D15042), on March 22, 2013.
