Biographical Sketch

At the Bureau of Geology, Adam has been involved in a wide range of projects. He has created geologic maps of several areas and mapped rocks ranging in age from Proterozoic to Quaternary. His educational background is in structural geology and ductile deformation of Proterozoic metamorphic rocks in New Mexico. Recent field projects include investigation of the timing of strike-slip faulting on the Pecos-Picuris Fault, mapping in the Southern Espanola Basin, the Sandia Mountains, and Ladron Peak areas (among others).

Adam has been involved in developing a geologic data model for our geologic maps created using our GIS system and also maintains the Bureau website.
