The Canadian 1971 $10.00 Specimen note — a rare control copy made available
from the Bank of Canada and legalized only recently by act of Parliament. The back
shows an oil refinery outside Sarnia, Ontario. This note has a DA prefix with seven
zeroes serial number and Specimen 689 on the back. The word SPECIMEN is
pin-punched into the note twice diagonally.
