An imperforate, trial color, sunken die proof of the
Boryslaw oil field stamp. It is dated 10 May 1944
and is the second brown color variation that was
produced. The pencilled markings note the colors
used: sepia brown, true orange, "true India"
yellow, and an additional orange. The proof
is printed on gummed paper.
