The design of Azerbaijan's 1921-22 single-color Bibi Eibatt oil field
stamp was reused to produce a higher denomination (3000 rubles) two-
color version on 1 January 1922. A number of the lithographic printing
dies were inverted so tete-beche pairs are found in several positions in
each pane as in the examples shown both above and below. The example
below also shows that color registration can be quite variable in this issue.
