Existing stock of the Qatari oil derrick stamp, previously unoverprinted
as well as
overprinted, underwent a revaluation from rupees to riyals in 1966.
These examples
show revaluation (left) on the 1961 previously unoverprinted stamp as well
as black
and red overprinted revaluations the the JFK stamp ( center and right).
Errors of the revaluation overprint on the JFK issue — a
double overprint on the left and an inverted one on the right.
