Most French-African countries have continued the pattern
of producing imperforate deluxe sheets for post-independence
issues. These examples are fairly typical (although not
depicted in proper relative sizes). The top one is a
sheet
from Gabon that also shows the Port Gentil refinery — it
lacks the "IMPRIMERIE DES TIMBRES-POSTE" imprint
and is printed on heavy, slightly glossy stock
. The
second example (below) is heavily embossed
onto stiff, very
glossy card stock.
