Most French-African countries have continued the pattern
of producing imperforate deluxe sheets for post-independence
issues. These two examples show deluxe sheets produced for se-tenant
stamp releases. The top one, from Gabon, shows a strip of two stamps
and an intervening label and is printed on glossy card stock, shows a
slight embossing of the central area, and has no additional imprint. The
lower one shows a block of four stamps with offshore drilling rigs
on both the stamps and marginal tabs. This sheet also is printed on
card stock and but is not embossed.
