A photographically cropped full 25-stamp pane of trial color proofs of a 1963
Algerian stamp depicting an oil derrick (center left). This is the common
sequence colors for most French-area trial color printings of three-color
stamps, with the fourth column repeating the first and the fifth column
showing a variety of full-color combinations. The final printed stamp
(in imperforate form) is shown below for comparison — it comes close
to, but is not identical with, any of the combinations on this pane.
Note the production file number (92001) and date (11 June 1963).
