Enlargements (above and below) of eight different imperforate trial single-color proofs
of a 1959 French stamp depicting the Hassi-Messaoud oil field stamp. All were
originally parts of sheets that included a strip of multicolor combination
prints used to select final print colors for this issue. An imperforate
version of the final stamp is shown below.
