Petroleum Stamp Essays and Proofs

A 1973 Jamaican 6-cent definitive (above) depicted a refinery and oil
storage tanks. Apparently this stamp was initially planned as a
5-cent issue as seen from the large essay below (an original
watercolor painting) and a small black and white
photographic proof (essay) shown above (right).
