Imperforate essay (die proof) printings of stamps depicting the
Qatari offshore oil exploration and production operations.
These proof stamps are pasted onto a presentation sheet from
Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company Ltd. of England. The proof
probably was produced for submission to Qatari postal
officials as part of the stamp approval process. Two
of the final printed stamps are shown below for
comparison.
