
An imperforate compound essay depicting the four stamps
from a 1980 Qatari set the third stamp depicts an oil
refinery. The finally printed stamp is shown next to the
essay and shows changes that were made to the design
subsequent to the printing of this essay. The most
noticeable change is the enlargement of the portrait
of Sheik Khalifa. The essay is from the files of
the printing company, Harrison-Bradbury Ltd.
