This unique acrylic painting on art-board above was used as the source
for a 1969 Qatari
stamp (shown below) depicting the Shell oil tanker "Sivella" loading
oil from a tethered
offshore station. The lettering was put on a mylar overlay above the painting
but that
has been removed here to provide a better view of this fine piece
of art work.
