NEW MEXICO GEOLOGY:

CLASSIC SEDIMENTOLOGIC

LOCALITIES

The sedimentary geology and scenery of New Mexico are both highly varied and quite spectacular. You can click on the dots on the map below to see pictures and descriptions of some of my favorite areas, including the Socorro area, White Sands, the Sacramento Mountains, and the Guadalupe Mountains. All four of these sites are still being completed and only the Guadalupe Mountains site contains significant information at this time.

Socorro area
Sacramento Mtns.
White Sands
