JOB DUTIES: Provides program and project oversight and technical management support for the Aquifer Mapping Program. Conducts scientific investigation, procures funding, and publish and provide outreach. Help develop and maintain funding, guide strategic planning in the Aquifer Mapping Program.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Hydrology, Geology, or earth Science equivalent required. 10+ years working experience in hydrogeology and/or water resources required. Experience in interpretation of hydrologic, geochemical or geophysical data on a regional scale required. Strong proficiency in project management- working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines required. Competent working with MS office suite, ArcGIS, database platforms, and Adobe products required. Production of reports and presentation to clearly describe results for technical and non-technical audiences required. Ability to work well with researchers, consultants, support staff, government agencies, tribes/pueblos, and public required. Knowledge of NM geology and hydrogeology desired.
