Open-file Reports

We accept manuscripts and data from within and outside the Bureau of Geology for open-file report status (see submission guidelines). Manuscripts are reviewed before acceptance but do not receive the editorial and graphic support of our other publications. Open-file reports, including the Argon Open-file (OF-AR) and the Open-file Geologic Map series (OF-GM), are made available in electronic format only. These reports are subject to frequent revisions and may be unavailable while being revised. Please direct comments or requests regarding these reports to the authors or the Webmaster.

Obtaining Copies of Open-file Reports

You can download all our open-files for free or, if your internet connection is slow and the report is large, you may want to purchase Open-files (generally on CD ROM) at a nominal cost of $10 each + postage & handling.
