Dustin Baca

I do instrumental analysis on aqueous samples for environmental research and monitoring, for various research conducted at New Mexico Tech, and for private individuals. I also enjoy training students in analytical techniques and assisting them with their various projects.

I attended New Mexico Tech from 1998-2001.

• I began working at the New Mexico Bureau of Geology in 2003 as a Laboratory Technician in the Wet Chemistry Laboratory, where I still work today.
• After a number of years working as a technician in the Perlite Testing Laboratory, I became the manager from 2015 until it was decommissioned in 2022.
