I have lived in New Mexico on and off since 2003, when I joined the Water Resource program at University of New Mexico. While working on my master's degree in Hydroscience I began learning data science and information management on the the job at the Long Term Ecological Research Network (LTER). From 2013 to 2016 I managed data for a collaborative macroecology project between four labs at three universities. Upon the completion of that project, I then worked on a related project with the Botanical Information and Ecology Network at University of Arizona.
