I am a GIS Specialist/Cartographer for the Geologic Map Production Group at the New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources. I will be working with field geologists and using ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator, and other GISystems to update legacy quadrangles and produce geologic maps for the USGS STATEMAP program.

I am originally from Kalamazoo, MI and lived in Colorado for 6 years where I attended CMC (Glenwood Springs/Spring Valley Campus) and CU Denver. After moving back home to my beloved mitten state, I graduated from Western Michigan University with a BS in Geographic Information Sciences/Geology.

Moving to New Mexico has been a dream for my partner and myself since our first visit a few years ago, so we are excited to make it a reality and begin exploring the Southwest. In my spare time I enjoy fly fishing, video games (PC and console), hiking with my partner and our dog Tucker, and adding to my collections of action figures, rocks, and maps from all over the world.
