Symbology

Symbology will generally be applied by matching feature attributes to a predefined Bureau of Geology style. Symbols can be attributed correctly by referring to the symbology section of the Data Model pages.

• Set symbols from general_24K.style symbol set:
  \\agustin\statemap\GIS_help\Style_and_Standards\General_24k.style
• Apply appropriate colors for lithologic polygons (geo_poly):
  • Check for regional color styles
  • If nothing exists apply age appropriate color ramp
