Multi-element geochemistry is one of the most powerful tools available to an exploration geologist. In this course, we will learn the principles and methods of lithogeochemical and surficial geochemical exploration, including planning, sampling, analysis, QAQC, data handling, plotting and data analysis (basic geostatistics in ioGAS), and interpretation. You will also learn how to design effective geochemical sampling programs, managing large multi-element databases, and correctly interpret the data.
