Graphite furnace atomic absorption
The chemistry laboratories of the NMBGMR are both service and research facilities. Please view our water analysis price list and our discussion on Water Quality Evaluation which explains what the results of water analyses mean. Some of the analytical services we are capable of are:
- General chemical analysis of water; pH, conductivity, TDS, hardness, alkalinity/acidity, chloride, sulfate, nitrate, fluoride, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and silica.
- Minor elements in water; boron, bromide, iron, lithium, manganese, phosphate, and strontium.
- Trace elements in water; aluminum, antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead, mercury, molybdenum, selenium, silver, and zinc.
- Meteoric water mobility testing, acid producing potential, and acid neutralizing potential.
- Routine ore analyses; copper, lead, and zinc.
- Soil, sediment, and tailings analyses; arsenic, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, silver, and zinc.
- Toxicity characteristic leaching procedure (TCLP); arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, selenium, and silver.
