Soda Dam, near Jemez Springs, NM, was formed by several small hot springs that are actively depositing travertine. The Jemez river flows through a natural bridge at Soda Dam. This is a popular roadside attraction for travelers passing through San Diego Canyon on their way deeper into the Jemez mountains.
