Rick Arthur

Rick Arthur was hired in August as Layout and Production Editor for the Bureau’s Publications Group. Originally from New York State, Rick has held a variety of positions in the publishing and printing fields over the last twenty-five years. His eye for detail has been honed as a graphic artist in the newspaper business, as art director at the world’s largest flag making company, and as quality control specialist for print-on-demand book pioneer Integrated Book Technologies. He has worked in comic books, all aspects of print design, illustration, logo development, TV and movie storyboards as well as editing and proof reading manuscripts and screenplays. In his spare time Rick enjoys teaching a drawing class here at NMT and is collecting his class material into a book slated for late 2015 release.
