- Stratigraphy of the Neogene Santa Fe Group in the Albuquerque Basin, including collaboration with researchers from the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science, University of New Mexico, and U.S. Geological Survey.
- Quaternary stratigraphy of the Albuquerque Basin.
- Compilation and study of subsurface data (borehole geophysical logs, cuttings, drillers' reports, etc.) in the Albuquerque Basin.
- Cuttings and core archives of water-supply and environmental wells drilled in the Albuquerque and Española basins.
