Joe retired from the USGS after 29 years as a Hydrologic Technician. From 2006 to 2021 he worked in the New Mexico Water Science Center in Albuquerque. Before that he worked in Dover Delaware and Baltimore Maryland.
While in Albuquerque, he was the lead technician for the Middle Rio Grande Water-Level Monitoring projects. He was also a groundwater sampling team lead for the New Mexico PFAS assessment and maintained continuous water-quality monitors on the Rio Grande and Pecos River and monitoring wells in the Mesilla Basin.
Joe works part-time and is primarily focused on fieldwork for our Aquifer Mapping Program.
