Dr. Virginia McLemore presents at American Exploration and Mining Association Annual Meeting

New Mexico Bureau of Geology Principal Senior Economic Geologist Dr. Virginia McLemore presented December 4^th at the American Exploration and Mining Association (AEMA) Annual Meeting in Reno, Nevada. Her talk “The Status of the Mining Industry in New Mexico, 2019” discussed historic mining in New Mexico and possible future exploratin for minerals such as copper and gold, rare earth elements (REEs), and critical minerals, like beryllium and lithium.
