Our office is a gateway to discovery. Here, you'll find our vibrant Bookstore and the renowned Mineral Museum, a true treasure trove of the Southwest which showcases dazzling displays of gold, silver, precious gems, and other spectacular mineral forms. Nestled on the campus of the New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology in Socorro, NM, this gem of a destination invites travelers to learn more about New Mexico's Geologic wonders.
In addtion to our Mineral Museum, many of our archives and collections are accessible to the public, including our Geologic Information Center, and our Library of Subsurface Data.
If you have a geologic question, stop by. Our staff are always willing to talk to the public about rocks, minerals, or any other aspect of the fascinating geology in New Mexico.
