I have been a field geologist for the New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources since July, 2024. My work utilizes topographic analysis and field-based research in structural geology and neotectonics to investigate the timing and development of faults in actively deforming regions. My expertise is in strike-slip fault systems and orogenic processes. In particular, combining neotectonic mapping and Quaternary geochronology to provide quantitative constraints on the architecture and slip history of active faults and inform seismic hazards and risk assessments for at-risk communities.

My primary research interests are the evolution of fault systems and strain partitioning. I have done field work or worked with students in the Nepal Himalaya, the Walker Lane Belt, and the Colorado Plateau.
