I am a GIS Specialist/Cartographer for the Geologic Map Production Group at the New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources. I work with field geologists and use ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator, and Global Mapper to update legacy quadrangles and produce geologic maps for the USGS STATEMAP program. I have a Bachelor's in Geology from Western Colorado University, and a Master's in Anthropology/Southwestern Archaeology from New Mexico State University. I grew up in various parts of Missouri and Colorado, and have lived in New Mexico since 2002. My husband and I both work at New Mexico Tech, and enjoy living in Socorro.

I've previously worked for the Bureau of Land Management, National Parks, and Forest Service, as well as having been an independent contractor in Archaeology. I most recently held a position at Joseph R. Skeen Library at New Mexico Tech - I absolutely loved the academic environment and student interactions that the library encouraged and supported. However, my current position allows me to draw on both my love of Geology and GIS. I like what I do! When not working, I enjoy board games, movies, reading, and socializing with friends.
