Nick Tenorio joined the Bureau's IT Department at the beginning of March after recently retiring from the U.S. Coast Guard (USGC). He started his military career as a U.S. Navy Corpsman in 1992, serving 10 years in variety of operational and support units around the world. After earning his M.S. in IT Management, Nick joined the USCG in 2004, serving as a lead in the Enterprise Architecture Engineering Branch at the Telecommunications and Information Systems Command (TISCOM), Alexandria, Virginia. Next he was Regional Manager and Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the short-range maritime communications upgrade project, Rescue 21, in Scottsdale, Arizona. More recently he was Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. We welcome his expertise as our new Network Systems Administrator as we plan our move into the new bureau building in the spring of 2015
