Alyssa Baca

I am a life-long New Mexico resident and rockhound. Combined with my love of public libraries and keeping data accessible to the community, becoming the NMBGMR Subsurface Library's librarian feels like a natural outcome. I maintain donated well core and cuttings from across New Mexico, which include petroleum, water, and economic exploration wells, and their associated geophysical and geochemical analyses.

Graduated with high honors from New Mexico Tech in 2019, with a bachelors of earth science.

ArcGIS digitization of legacy maps, updating previously digitized maps/geodatabases to comply with current FGDC standards, generating cross-sections from well logs.
