New Mexico Geochronology Research Laboratory — Endowment
The New Mexico Geochronology Research Laboratory (NMGRL) has officially launched a campaign to build two endowments:
Student support: The imparting of knowledge and the cultivation of future geochronologists are paramount. Geochronologic skills are not solely acquired through textbooks; but require hands-on training in the laboratory. By contributing to this endowment, you are sustaining the education of students and the development of their scientific projects in a cutting-edge laboratory.
Technical excellence: Pioneering analytical techniques are imperative to uphold our position as one of the world's leading laboratories. At NMGRL, pushing the boundaries of 40Ar/39Ar geochronology through technological innovation is a guiding principle.
The endowments are exclusively for the benefit of the NMGRL and will ensure the sustainability of our facility and continued accessibility of our services to a vast array of researchers, students, and other geochronology consumers.

We hope to raise $3 million combined for both endowments and the campaign already has incredible momentum, with $1.5 million being raised to date. However, in order to reach our goal, we ask that you consider supporting this important effort. Because of generous matching pledges we can match your contribution 2-to-1 up to $200,000 over the next year, making your contribution highly impactful.
