Geologic map of the southern Espanola Basin

The GIS projects and map products included in this open file report reflect a compilation and interpretation of geologic data from the southern Espanola Basin. The data were compiled by D.J. Koning and A.S. Read and from 7.5-minute geologic quadrangle maps produced by the NMBGMR's STATEMAP program, and from USGS geologic maps and reports. This map is being released as an open-file report because of interest in this area. We intend to publish the contents of this report as a peer-reviewed geologic map. Likely the plates will be printed (paper) and the GIS data will be made available online and on CD-ROM. The geologic map and cross-sections in this report largely superceed NMBGMR OFR-481 -- excluding data not included in this report.
